Education Program

We provide quality education for basic and primary and support the children through secondary school and University. Our goal is to prepare every child for a successful future

Redemption Academy

Since 2011, the Redemption Children’s Home has operated its own primary school, Redemption Academy. Founded to provide education for both our resident children and those from the Damongo community, the school has seen a steady increase in enrolment since its inception.

The original school building, which consisted of three classrooms, quickly became too small to accommodate the growing number of students and various educational levels. Expanding the facility has been a primary goal for the Redemption Children’s Home from the very beginning.

Project Update & Current Needs

We are pleased to share that the construction of the second school blocks are complete. However, our mission continues as we transition from building to sustaining a high-quality learning environment. We are currently seeking funding to support:

• Maintenance Works: Ensuring the buildings remain safe and functional.

• Essential Materials: Providing textbooks, stationery, and teaching aids.

• Operational Costs: Supporting the daily needs of the academy.

To help us maintain this vital resource for the children of Damongo, please consider making a donation to Stichting Weeshuizen Afrika:
